Condor-Eight of Swords

The condors in this card (there are three) represent birth, death, and rebirth, according to the author and artist, Lisa Hunt. She depicts the birds, two of them flying, one of them perched on a large stone, surveying the land and observing the eight swords sticking into the ground. he swords themselves form a metaphorical fence or barrier of sorts, and ancient stone carvings are visible serving as a reminder to the life that once was.

The swords are stuck in the ground, except for the one that is stuck in the same stone that the condor is perched on. This shows stagnation along with the symbolized limitation by the line up of the swords themselves.

There are certainly warnings of limitations in this card, warnings that I am grateful to receive. The stagnation and trapped feeling of the eight of swords is self imposed, as well as unnoticed by the individual that subjects himself to it.

I have to change my foundation, discover what I am doing erroneously and find a way to change it to free myself from my self-imposed limitation. Change is key here, as clear energy must replace the stagnated energy of the past.
